In this project, I have worked with syncronised swimmers. I stood perched on the edge
of a diving board, on the second highest point of a stepladder, in order to photograph
them from above. I have seen them as a pattern, where the single swimmer is a part of
a larger whole.
Later, I photographed them from below, leaving the models hanging like weightless
figures in space. The weightlessness is underscored when they are projected into
different landscapes and spaces in heaven.
They were first time shown at Gallery Trafo in Asker ( Norway ) 2007, and latest
at SVU Gallery in Bratislava in Slovakia 2008.
