A journey

was my first soloshow, and can in many ways be regarded as summary of both my work and
personal development at the time. The exhibition reflected my wish to reveal and to be made
visible - a journey towards the surface.
I wished, at that time as now, that the pictures should offer a multitude of possibilities, so
that each perceiver may have his / her individual experience unhindered by mine.

The show held 12 images in 120 x 120 cm and 100 x 145 cm.

The images were shown at Preus museum in Horten, Galleri Allmenningen
in Bergen, Stavanger Kunstforening in Stavanger and in Kragerø Kunstforening.

Towards The Surface are in the collection of Preus Museum.
